Each tray is cast twice using a unique process that creates its signature cracked concrete finish. The first pour is a light concrete slurry that coats the mold. Once cured, the mold is carefully twisted and manipulated by hand, intentionally cracking the inner concrete layer. A second pour forms the base color and final structure of the tray, locking the cracks in place. The piece is then sanded smooth and sealed for durability.
An original daisy flower inlay is embedded into the surface, adding a soft, organic contrast to the raw concrete texture.
The sealed surface is food contact safe, making this tray great for use as a fruit bowl or serving dish for dry foods.
